Obsession: Madras Check

Today I’m going to talk about one of the most colourful trends that has rocked the fashion world - Madras checks or `Lungi Prints’ as some may call them. A cloth which was once considered too humble to be chic has now defied it’s very humble beginnings as a handkerchief to rule casual wear. The fabric has inherited its name from Chennai city which was formerly known as ‘Madras’ (Good to know fact, right?).

I have always been a huge fan, hence wanted to create a look solely with checks free of any distraction. Despite having many colours , it doesn't give you a colour attack as the 'cool' ones have mellowed down the 'warm' ones. I don’t think I have gotten into anything more comfortable than these in this HOT weather. To quirk it up a tad more, I tied my hair into two pigtails. Let's see:
